NCWSBA Wool Broker Award 2014

The National Council of Wool Selling Brokers (NCWSBA) are seeking nominations for their Annual Wool Broker Award.  The Award recognises and rewards excellence in client servicing, auctioneering and innovation by a wool broker working for a NCWSBA member. Broker staff who have been working in any role in the wool broking industry for 10 years or less are eligible to apply. Nominations close on 18th July 2014.

AWTA Ltd Testing Fees 2014-2015

General wool testing fees have increased by 2% for the 2014/15 wool selling season, effective from 1st July 2014.

While food fraud is causing concern for consumers, it's also a big problem for retailers and food manufacturers and the industry is responding by ramping up testing regimes and developing new technologies that can identify dodgy ingredients and spot fake food.

Wool ComfortMeter to turn heads at global showcase in Shanghai

Revolutionary Australian technology that can guarantee the comfort of wool to the consumer will go on sale to the world at a major global textile and manufacturing showcase in Shanghai this week.

The devices are on demonstration at the ITMA Asia event in Shanghai from 16 - 20 June 2014 at stand E5-H17.
