AWTA Ltd is bound by the federal Privacy Act 1988, which protects “personal information”, ie information about individuals, and we take our obligations seriously.

AWTA Ltd does of course collect and hold the names, titles and business address details including email addresses of our clients and other business contacts.

We protect this information in the following way:

·              In general we will obtain this information directly from you.  For example, we will collect your details when you first open an account, or when one of our managers has some face to face dealings with you.

·              We will use your contact details only for the purpose of normal business dealings related to services provided by AWTA Ltd.  This may include adding you to one of our mailing lists, whether for hard copy or electronic mail.  These updates will keep you informed of developments at AWTA Ltd and in the wool, product testing, feedtest or agrifood industries generally.  However, each mailout will include a clearly indicated method of “opting out”, and the decision of any individuals not to receive further marketing materials will be respected.

·             In no circumstances will we sell your contact details to any other party.

·           We have taken all reasonable steps to protect your contact details from unauthorized access, modification or misuse, both from within and outside the company.
