SERVICES

AWTA Textile Testing offers a wide range of testing and consulting services. Your local AWTA Textile representative can assist you to find a test series to suit your exact needs and provide fee lists covering other areas of interest to you. SERVICE TIMES

A service time target has been established for each test type. All times quoted are from receipt of samples in the Melbourne Laboratory. A copy of the Test Report is faxed to the client on the day of completion of testing.

AWTA Textile Testing offers an "EXPRESS" service for urgent projects by the payment of an "EXPRESS SURCHARGE" of 50% of the total project costs. "EXPRESS" projects will be tested in the laboratory ahead of other projects.

Whilst AWTA Ltd will endeavour to complete testing promptly, it will not accept liability for any loss arising from the delay in production of a test report.

SAMPLING

It is of vital importance to all clients and users of Test Reports that the sample submitted to AWTA Ltd is accurately representative of the entire batch, dye lot or processing run. Sampling should therefore be as random as practical and in accordance with standard procedures when these exist. In some circumstances it may be desirable for AWTA Ltd staff to supervise the drawing of samples, or to inspect goods on site. If unsure of the sample size required for testing feel free to contact any of our AWTA Textile Testing staff for advice.

All articles and sample remaining after testing will become the property of AWTA Ltd.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

For credit clients, a company order or a signed Test Request is required for all work undertaken. Otherwise payment is required prior to release of the test report. Credit Card facilities are available to make prepayment easy.

TERMS OF TRADE

The terms under which AWTA Textile Testing conducts its testing and consulting are listed on the reverse of the Test Request and on the AWTA Ltd website. A copy of the Test Request is included at the back of this fees list.

REPRODUCTION OF TEST REPORTS

All AWTA Textile Testing Reports contain a statement regarding the reproduction of Test Reports. This endorsement should not be interpreted as reluctance on the part of AWTA Ltd to have its name and Test Reports used in commercial literature. To ensure that our documents can be used with confidence, it is company policy to insist on the right to approve any abstraction or interpretation of a Test Report prior to its release.

ROUTINE TESTING

Listed in this fees list are the test fees applicable to the most commonly requested tests, but there are many other tests available for which separate fees lists are available.

NON ROUTINE TESTING

Tests that are conducted infrequently or specifically for a project are designated as non routine tests.

AWTA Textile Testing can carry out tests to a number of different Australian and International Standards. The required standard should be specified at the time of submitting test specimens.
