When high twist singles yarns are loosely folded with a small twist, tufted or woven as one yarn, and then cut, they tend to appear and act as individual tufts of singles yarn. AWTA Textile Testing policy is to treat these as singles tufts for the purpose of the test since these are the elements which may produce sprouting in service. |
