DMF Risk Scheme Adoption Rate - April 09

Dark & Medullated Fibre Risk (DMFR) Scheme Ratings help buyers and processors put wool to its right end use and raises awareness of any potential problems with contamination, which can be very costly.

The monthly declaration rate for lots included in the DMFR scheme for April 2009 was 35.6% compared with 37.2% in April 2008.

The progressive declaration rate for Season 2008/09 to April 2009 is 44.0%, compared to 38.1% in March 2008.
