Grand Champion Ram - Dubbo Ram Sales Sheep shows occur within Australia regularly. Three of the biggest are the Dubbo Ram Sales (NSW), Bendigo Fleece Competition (VIC) and the Wagin Woolarama (WA).

In addition sheep are presented for competions at all of the Royal Agricultural Shows in each of the major states capital cities each year.

Winning competions at sheep shows is important for the stud industry as it provides continuing marketing opportunities for the stud-masters. It is at the sheep shows that stud-masters strut their stuff.
