Do my results reach the processing mill?

The processing mill specifies the type of documentation that must be supplied with a consignment of wool by the wool exporter. Almost all wool contracts specify that Certificates showing Yield, VM and Diameter must be supplied with the delivery. Most processing mills also require that Staple Length and Strength Certificates are supplied.

However, mill consignments rarely if ever consist of farm lots from a single farm. Consequently, it is generally not possible for a mill to identify the processing characteristics of individual farm lots.
