The Member/Guarantors of AWTA Ltd (ACWE, NCWSBA, PTWMA, AWPC, WoolProducers, AWRAP) each appoint a Director (AWPC appoints 2) to the Board of AWTA Ltd. Hence the views of the various sectors of the industry are input into the direction and policies of the Company.

However, all directors have a legal obligation to act according to the strict requirements for company directors defined in Corporations Law. Among other things this means that they must primarily act in the interests of the Company, not necessarily in the interests of their particular industry sector. In many instances these interests will coincide, but there will also be instances where they will not.

The Management and staff of AWTA Ltd are required by Company Policy to listen to the clients and expeditiously address their concerns.
