Selling systems

The Australian Wool Exchange manages Australia's open cry auction system. Over recent years the Exchange has also developed electronic selling systems (Eclipse).

However, AWTA Ltd facilitated the first electronic auction and electronic tender ever held in Australia using the Company's WOOLINK™ system.

While the auction remains the major mechanism for exchange of ownership, other mechanisms such as private sale, direct sale etc are also available.
