Background Information
Ray manages AWTA Ltd’s Information Services Division, which is responsible for developing and maintaining the Company’s computer and software systems.
He gained his IT knowledge in a number of positions during the period 1965 - 1989, including a 7 year stint as Team Leader - Systems Support for Ansett Airlines, and a nine year period as EDP Manager for Rockwell Standard of Australia Ltd, Melbourne. Ray joined AWTA Ltd in 1989.
The period since his appointment has seen major developments in AWTA Ltd’s IT systems, including WOOLINK.
He reports to the Managing Director.
Accountabilities
The National Information Services Manager is accountable for planning and controlling the development of computer systems and programmes to meet the current and future needs of AWTA Ltd operations, administration and management.
